Good-Bye Europe!

Our last breakfast together...

All dressed in our People to People polo shirts and khakis...suitcases packed... we walked to the airport.  It was crazy once we arrived...they wouldn't check us in as a group.  But now, seeing as we're all seasoned travelers, we survived.  A few were out a few enormous amount of euros because of the weight of their suitcases...but on the plane we all were.

I think one important thing I hope everyone learns, is that you can travel anywhere.  You can get by just knowing English...you can figure out how to get from point A to B... you can do it!  Traveling internationally is not difficult...even though it can seem overwhelming before you do it.

Delta flight 0259 took off from Schiropel Airport in Amsterdam...and we headed to Minneapolis/St. Paul.  There we had a 5 hour layover... It didn't seem that long...we all went to eat at about 3 p.m., with the majority of the delegation wanting Subway sandwiches!

Back on the plane...and Delta flight 1505 took off for San Francisco International Airport...and our families!

It's so good, so much fun to travel...but as Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz, "There's no place like home!"

We were with our families...and it was the end of Day 18..

and the end of our journey...

*I didn't count the first day of travel...which is why we ended on Day 18 instead of Day 19!
