Our delegation met for the first time in January.

Jane and I tried to give multiple opportunities for you to talk with your fellow delegates...
We have some alumni in this delegation...
Which is a lot of fun for me....to travel with them again!
We formed human knots during the 2nd orientation meeting...
and then we had to figure out HOW to get ourselves untangled...
Some did better than others...

We also wrote our names on cards...
and had part of an answer from the 'Background of People to People' on the other card...
The game was played like 'Concentration'... trying to match the cards that completed a fact about P2P...
Later in the meeting, groups wrote an acrostic poem for the word "Ambassador"....
Each group presented their poem...
Last but not least, groups were given one of four countries to draw...
England, France, Netherlands, and Ireland were the four. Belgium and Wales were not a choice on Explore Before You Go...
Besides drawing the country, the capitol city was to be put in...along with the borders...
There was to be no help from iPhones...but, well, some drew their country before we saw their 'assistant'...
England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland, and Wales...do you realize what a great tour of Europe this will be?
